Advance Voting by Mail

When you choose to vote by mail, you can participate in an election from the comfort of your home. We’ll mail your ballot to your registered address—or to a temporary address you provide on the required application. Simply complete your ballot and return it to us by the applicable deadline.

Early Voting in Person

If you prefer to vote in person but want to cast your ballot before Election Day, stop by our office or one of our four locations during the early voting period. With evening and weekend hours available, early voting makes it easier to find a time that works for you.

Best of all, early voting in person is available to all registered voters, and no application is required. Visit Upcoming Elections for early voting dates, locations, and hours.

Ballot Drop Box Locations

For your convenience, ballot drop boxes are available throughout the voting period. They open on the first day ballots are mailed and remain open through Election Day, closing at 7:00 p.m. We offer four convenient ballot drop box locations:

• Bonner Springs Library | 201 N. Nettleton Ave, Bonner Springs, KS

• Edwardsville City Hall | 690 S. 4th St, Edwardsville, KS

• Wyandotte County Election Office | 850 State Ave, Kansas City, KS

• Wyandotte West Library | 1737 N. 82nd St, Kansas City, KS

On Election Day: At your polling place

Many voters prefer to cast their ballot on Election Day, and we’re ready to welcome you. Polling places throughout the county are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., giving you plenty of time to visit your assigned polling place and cast your ballot.

Our trained election workers will be on hand to assist you through the voting process and help make your experience as smooth and efficient as possible.
